ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDDERS

The Plainfield Township Park District is accepting bids for the following project:

MOWING SERVICES CONTRACT FOR TWENTY PARKS

Sealed proposals will be received on or before March 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Planning Department Office of the Plainfield Township Park District, 23805 West Ottawa Street, Plainfield, IL 60544.  Project proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time.

Contractors will be required to comply with all laws, including those relating to the employment of labor and the payment of the general prevailing rate of hourly wages in the locality in which the work is to be performed for each craft or type of worker or mechanic needed to execute the contract or perform such work, also the general prevailing rate for legal holiday and overtime work, as ascertained by the Park District or by the Illinois Department of Labor for Will County, Illinois, shall be paid for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract or to perform such work.

Plans and specifications may be obtained from the Plainfield Township Park District, Planning Department Office 23805 West Ottawa Street, Plainfield, IL 60544, beginning February 6, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. for a nonrefundable fee of $5.00.

The Plainfield Township Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities.
