Great Adventures Program for Preschoolers

Based on the premise that children learn through play, participants ages 3-5 explore, create, discover, problem-solve, and communicate to develop age-appropriate skills. Experienced, nurturing staff members implement a progressive program using themes to expose students to colors, shapes, numbers, and letters through a friendly, fun atmosphere.

A balance of whole group and small group activities encourage academic and listening skills along with social interaction. Each classroom consists of two instructors and approximately 18 students. Classes begin in early September and run through mid-May.

* Please note that due to the recent decision made by the Plainfield School District regarding changing their start and end times for the 2011-12 school year, Great Adventures has changed their start and end times also. The new times for the 2011-12 school year are as follows:

AM Session: 9:30 am-12 pm | PM Session: 12:45-3:15 pm

2012-13 Registration Forms
Registration Form and Payment Plan Agreement Form must be accompanied by a $75 non-refundable registration fee via check or money order and submitted to the Recreation / Administration Center.
