Each two-hour package consists of a bonfire and an unlimited number of hayrack rides. The hayrack seats 15 people, and each ride lasts approximately 20 minutes. Groups of more than 50 cannot be accommodated.

Reservations must be made at least 10 working days prior to the date requested, and full payment must be received at the time of the reservation. Reservations must be made in person at the Parks & Planning Office, 23805 W. Ottawa St. (formerly 112 W. Ottawa St.). All reservations are subject to availability. Fees
Resident: $200 (includes $50 refundable deposit)
Non-resident: $275 (includes $50 refundable deposit)

Groups that violate policies are subject to the loss of their deposit.

Alcoholic beverages are prohibited. Park District staff will cancel or end any hayrack ride due to horseplay, presence of alcohol, or group counts over the maximum.

Park District staff will determine cancellation due to inclement weather. Call the Maintenance Shop, (815) 436-2029, a half-hour prior to the scheduled time to verify if the hayride as been cancelled. If it has, the ride may be rescheduled for another date during the current season. To reschedule, call the Parks & Planning Office at (815) 439-7940. If there are no dates available, a full refund will be issued. If a hayrack ride is cancelled for any reason other than inclement weather, only the security deposit will be refunded.
